The loop

Every run is a heist

  1. RecruitOutlaws bring Grit. Skiffs bring seats. Seal them into a Band.
  2. ChartPick one of 30 Claims across three Rings. The richer the rock, the heavier the patrols.
  3. RunOne run a day. Success, haul and hull damage are rolled from a verifiable seed.
  4. Lay lowFresh Gild is hot. Sell it straight to the Fence or let it cool down first.
  5. Tithe NightOnce a week, ambush one of three Crown convoys. The quietest route pays best.

Outlaw factions

Three or more crew, 60% from one faction, and the Band is Sworn:

Every box opens on the same night

You mint a sealed box. Nobody knows what is inside yet, including us. One hour after the last box is minted, the reveal locks onto a block that does not exist yet, and its hash decides who gets what.

  • The rarity table is stored on-chain and fingerprinted before the first mint.
  • The reveal takes its randomness from the next block on Robinhood Chain. Nobody can pick it.
  • Sealed boxes trade like any NFT. They open automatically on Reveal Night.

The ore, the coin, the burn

$GILD launches on Pons with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000. Runs pay out from the Vault, and the Vault can never release more than 1% of what it holds in a day. A busy week cannot drain it.

  • Burned when a Band is assembled (100%), and on provisions, repairs, recruits and fast sales (40%).
  • Recycled into the Vault: half of all game fees flow back to the players' pool.
  • Shared through the Commons: part of every fast sale goes back to active, small crews.

Why does the reveal wait for the sell-out?

So every box opens under the same random draw and nobody, including the team, can see or steer results while the sale is still running.

Are Outlaws and Skiffs useful on their own?

You need both to sail: a Skiff provides the seats and Outlaws fill them. Both can be traded at any time, sealed or revealed.

Is there a token?

Yes, $GILD, launching on Pons after the genesis reveal. There is no presale.

Is this an investment?

No. Sherwood Belt is a game. Rewards depend on how the game and the market play out, and nothing is promised.
